The history of
Bamnang
At Bamnang, we have always believed in the transformative power of both the creative and education industries. Founded on March 14th, 2020, during the pandemic, by three co-founders, Bamnang has collaborated with numerous companies across various sectors, offering innovative design and media production services. Our mission is to bring our clients’ visions to life while helping them build strong, impactful brand identities. Early on, we also supported over 15 university students, providing them with opportunities to develop their creative skills and gain real-world work experience.
After two of the co-founders completed their master’s degrees in the United States, Bamnang expanded to launch Bamnang Academy on March 14th, 2024. Today, Bamnang operates two main subsidiaries: Bamnang Creative Innovation and Bamnang Academy, which includes Bamnang Shop and Bamnang Housing. Our vision is to grow Bamnang Group into a vibrant community, committed to advancing education and the creative industries across Cambodia, South Asia, Southeast Asia, Africa, South America, and North America

Menghieng Ngov
CO-FOUNDER & OPERATION MANAGER
Menghieng Ngov holds a master’s degree in communication studies, specializing in media production and brand strategies, from Northern Illinois University, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Arizona—both in the United States—along with a degree from the American University of Phnom Penh. Menghieng has been active in the creative industry since 2016, with extensive experience in media production.
Rothsethamony Seng
CO-FOUNDER & OPERATION MANAGER
Rothsethamony Seng is currently pursuing a master’s in education policy and analysis at Harvard Graduate School of Education, with a focus on global, international, and comparative education. She holds a master’s in political science, specializing in international relations and comparative politics, with a certificate in Southeast Asian Studies from Northern Illinois University, and a bachelor’s in global affairs with an economics minor from the American University of Phnom Penh. Mony also completed the YSEALI Academic Fellowship at the University of Nebraska, Omaha. Additionally, she is an educational content creator with 250,000 followers on Facebook.
Joseph Mao
FOUNDING MEMBER & ART DIRECTOR
Joseph Mao began his design journey in interior design at the Royal University of Fine Arts before expanding into graphic design at IT Academy STEP Cambodia. With experience as an illustrator for a publishing house, he later explored digital art and became a finalist in the 13th Gatsby Creative Awards in Tokyo. Over the past seven years, he has worked with commercial photography studios, design agencies, and international companies in Phnom Penh, bringing brands, illustrations, and social media to life. Always seeking new challenges, Joseph continues to grow in the creative field.

Monirith Phal (Known as RITH) is a Civil Engineering student currently pursuing his degree at Norton University.
I am currently interning as a Social Media Executive at Bamnang. I have been passionate about social media marketing since 2020, inspired by my cousin. Malika Chhim
Dalin is currently a junior at the Institute for International Studies and Public Policy, Royal University of Phnom Penh, with a bachelor’s degree in international relations.
As an IR student, I love to expand my area of knowledge and skills by volunteering for community services and starting an internship journey. Moreover, I always secure and capture new opportunities in hand in order to grow in this IR field, as my goal is to use my expertise giving back to the community as a whole.
