Consider applying for an internship at U.S. Embassy Phnom Penh, Cambodia, where you can develop professional skills and learn about diplomatic work. Interns gain experience working in various non-salaried positions across the embassy without receiving monetary compensation, benefits, or future U.S. government employment rights.

โฐ Application Deadline: September 8, 2026.

โœ… Eligibility In order to be eligible for this program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

a) Citizens or permanent legal residents of the host country; b) At least 18 years old; c) Must have graduated from high school or equivalent prior to beginning the program; d) Must be an active student at a public or private higher education institution; e) Must provide a certified/official transcript from high school (if recently graduated) or from the last term/semester to show proof of good academic standing; f) Must provide a certification letter from the school certifying current enrollment; g) Must be able to work until end of April 2027. h) Must not be an employee of the U.S. Mission.
