Alumni of the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) may begin submitting their applications to this year's summit in Manila, Philippines.

Summit 2026 will bring together past participants of YSEALI programs to form action plans on regional security priorities such as: 🚢 Maritime Security ⚡️ Energy Security 🖥️ Cybersecurity 🤝 and the international cooperation that makes the United States and ASEAN safer, stronger, and more prosperous.

📅 Program Period: November 30 to December 5, 2026

⏰ Application Deadline: 2nd October, 2026

✅ Eligibility

• A citizen and resident of one of the 11 YSEALI countries: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, or Vietnam.
• A YSEALI alumnus or alumna of an eligible fellowship, workshop, academy, summit, competition, or international exchange program.
• At least two years of professional experience in maritime security, cybersecurity, energy security, international affairs, or related economic security fields.
• Available for the full program, including the virtual orientation, two webinars in November 2026, and the in-person Summit in Metro Manila.
