University of Cambodia
Sangkat Toek Thla, Khan Sen Sok, Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
Graduates can pursue careers in a wide range of fields, including:
Sustainable Development Officer
Policy Analyst
Public Administration Officer
Rural Development Specialist
Graduates will be able to analyze Cambodia’s key economic sectors—especially agriculture, fisheries, forestry, and tourism—and propose development plans that balance economic growth with environmental protection. Students will understand how to avoid short-term exploitation and instead promote long-term sustainability, aligning with national strategies.
Students will gain the ability to assess development challenges (like poverty, environmental degradation, and weak governance) using perspectives from economics, sociology, political science, anthropology, and environmental studies. This prepares them to design, evaluate, and implement effective public policies and development projects in Cambodia and similar contexts.
